»FLOWERS IN YOUR HEART« acrylic keychain

features a one sided print and silver star clasp. The keychain itself is coated with epoxy for a glossy finish. The size is approx. 5cm // 1.3 inch.

When designing this I had a rough idea on how it should look like and what I want to express. It took a while until I was truly happy with it. The first few drafts looked okay, but they didn't really fit, it was not "the one". I feel like this reflects life quite good. You might not succeed the first time, but you shouldn't give up and try again. Don't let any fear of failure or the unknown hold you back.

The writing on this keychain is my own, which makes it extra personal. Everytime you buy a piece of art, you are also getting a part of the artist themselves. And while my handwriting does not look perfect, it shows that things with small imperfections are okay, they are good and very much lovable.

We all have some things that might be seen as "imperfections", but to me these are proof of individuality. Of being someone real. That is what the first drafts were not — they were too perfect, with no edges. And that is not what I wanted it to look like.

My message for you is to be kind to yourself and others. You yourself are your own home, so please decorate it lovingly. After every day, you come home to yourself, and you are the one person who's always been there. You made it. You are okay the way you are. Remember that every storm will pass, no matter how harsh it may be. You are never alone in this. Good days are waiting for you.
